Camera Shots/ Angles Quiz Reflection

                   Camera Shots/Angles Quiz

For our first project we were assigned to tell a story using different types of camera shots and angles while only being able to use objects from our backpack. The pictures could only be taken in class so we had to be creative.

How me and Sam approached the development of our final product was we decided to make a story about a pencil and pen who had a rivalry and only one would be crowned victor of the pouch. I was the pencil and Sam was the pen so in a way you could say the two objects were characters. All of the shots we used worked together to create our final product. The use of close ups, angles, medium shots, even a POV shot all helped create our story. In the end the pen was the only one remaining in the pouch. Me and Sam had a ton of film taking and thinking about what and how to take the pictures.

I think that our shot selection regarding every scene was good and creative. We utilized every shot to work with every scene for example the Over the shoulder shot we used worked really well because it made it seem as if I had just came back to my desk to find a pen and pencil fighting on my desk. However, I do believe one things we could've done better was creating clearer shots and clearer intents of each shots because there are several shots that may confuse to watcher because we are not utilizing our space well enough.
